I need some ideas for why clarity is important to a nursing profession.?

I know why its important...But need examples..I have one like being clear to your patient how to take thier medicine upon discharge but I need some more!! Thanks!!I need some ideas for why clarity is important to a nursing profession.?
It's the whole shebang! Clarity as said above in instructions - definitely clarity in medication - people die from med errors (often caused by an overworked junior doctor), clarity in communication with not only the patient, their family, your colleagues and the whole multi-disciplinary team for the sake of effective care, no time-wasting miscommunications and cost-efficiency problems; clarity for a confident workforce who can do a good job and ensure patient trust; clarity for the big word in nursing these days - accountability.

This is presuming you can get a few minutes away from the conveyor belt paperwork(where you can write anything but when the beep do you get a chance to DO it?).

Clarity in your own mind - a clear understanding of what you have to do and why - not just cos the Line Manager said to - but understand the sequence of events in treatment, reasons for and why, the impact on the patient and what they and family are going through.

Clarity isn't my strong point tonight - long week - but the term can be extended to cover all aspects of nursing from the medical to the personal perspective.I need some ideas for why clarity is important to a nursing profession.?
Maybe if you're helping a patient to move, say from the bed to the bathroom, you need to be clear about what's going to happen, what you want him to do, what you will do, etc. So you're both working together on the move to keep him safe.

Or if you have to explain how something works, like the call button, or the bed, or the iv, the patient would have to understand completely to avoid injury.
