Does anyone want to tell why you picked your name and how it applies to you?

Does anyone want to tell why you picked your name and how it applies to you? I was wondering because I thought maybe they gave clues to what you love, feel about something, mean something personal, that would allow others an insight into you.Does anyone want to tell why you picked your name and how it applies to you?
You're right, Bear is personal to me. I collect and sew teddy bears. I don't know if it gives any insight into who I am except I do tend to make the bears and give them away, especially to the grandkids. I've also been told I can be cuddly like an ole teddy bear and like a real mama bear am fiercely protective of my kids and grandkids and those I care about.Does anyone want to tell why you picked your name and how it applies to you?
My parents named me.
If your referring to my ';handle';.It represents a neat looking shark. You might want to be more specific.
I was raised in Wyoming and have Scottish ancestors, thus wyoscot.
If you mean my screen name on Yahoo!, I picked it because it is my name.
I actually gave myself a middle name after my divorce. I went through my entire life with no middle name. When my divorce was final I realized that I could no longer live with his last name and went back to my name, but decided that since I was doing a legal name change, it was a good time to add a middle name. The man I have been with for a few years suggested a middle name that I fell in love with. He commented that it was too bad that the initials did not have any significance like the name itself did. The name is the last name of a very strong advocate of women's rights in the late 1800's. I looked at the initials and the first thing that came to mind was Single White Female like you used to see in the newspapers. I thought that was actually pretty appropriate having just been divorced.
