idkHow is getting your hair straightened bad?
nothing is wrong why would someone call you a faker for having straight hair they are just probably jealous cause you have better hair then them. there is nothing wrong with guys straighting there hair i know lots of guys that do. just ignore them or maybe if it is the people that you hang out with that are saying it maybe it is time for new friends

It can damage your hair - but if you're willing to risk that, it's not bad. Doing stuff with your hair is just another means of personal expression, who cares if other people don't like it?
Then they suck.

Straighting your hair is actually bad for your hair, it dries out faster and you get really bad split ends. A guy friend of mine straightened his poofy hair and had to get it all cut off because his hair was so badly damaged.
Socially, there is nothing wrong with it. But as a girl...I prefer guys with poofy hair. ;)
its not bad..they are just being dumb...girls make such a big deal over something small
