How do you make your dog sleep on your bed?

I've been trying to make my 6 month old Labrador sleep on the bed with me, but he just doesn't seem to want to. He feels unsafe and insecure on the bed. I clean him everyday and there aren't any sanitation or health issues. Can you suggest some ways for my dog to sleep on my bed?How do you make your dog sleep on your bed?
I personally think it the individual personality of the dog. If it doesn't want to sleep on your bed you really can't make it....How do you make your dog sleep on your bed?

Male dogs don't like to cuddle. If you wanted a dog to cuddle with you should of went with a smaller breed and female. Male lab is a great dog though they always love to be apart of the family activities and have lots of Energy actually to much. This dog once you get him on your bed he is just going to try and get off. When the dog is like 7 plus years old then he will get in the bed and sleep in the same bed as you.
Get your dog on your bed and hold on to him/she until you fall asleep.


Your dog will follow suit. (your dog will get used to sleeping close to you eventually)
I firmly believe dogs should (to a certain extent) be allowed to make their own choices. Your dog doesn't want to sleep on your bed. Let him make that choice. Why would you want to force him to do something he doesn't want to do that is that trivial? Get a stuffed animal to cuddle with.

why would you want him too?? he grow large ,hog te bed, trust me,i made mistake of letting our boxer pup leep in our bed.big mistake,foir 3year plus we 3,me my partner and fully grown boxer,full of slobber in with us evrry nite,lol,

i have a question for you why would you want a dog to sleep with you.but every body has their own ways if he is happy on the floor it is better for him he could be too hot on the bed,you say you keep him Clean does this mean you bath him every day,but if you do want him on the bed then the best way i would say is put him on the bed in the day time and get on with him make it a game so he knows it is ok for him to do it,if he as the basic training sit wait down stay,then you can put him on the bed and tell him down and wait,there are no guarantees he will do anything people tell you to do with him if he likes the floor best

Why are you trying to make him sleep on your bed?Beds are for humans let him have his own bed on the floor.Sounds like he understands you are the alfa male

Try holding him near you and go to sleep.

all big breeds are very friendly and will sleep in your bed with you and your partner.
