How do you calculate your grades to get your Grade Point Average?

Example How do you add the grades A, and B, C, D to get your Grade Point Average for that quarter i forgot how to do it.How do you calculate your grades to get your Grade Point Average?
a is 4 b is 3 c is 2 d is 1 f is 0

just find the average..

If you have an a and a c, you have 6 points, divide that by 2 and you have a 3.0How do you calculate your grades to get your Grade Point Average?
A = 4

B = 3

C = 2

D = 1

F = 0

Take # of grades add together and divide by # of classes :)

Example you got 3 A's %26amp; 2 B's = 3X4 = 12 + 2x3 = 6

12+6 = 18

18/5 (# of classes) = 3.6 GPA
A=4

B=3

C=2

D=1

Add the grades you received together using the above numbers, and divide by the number of classes you have, or the ';weight'; of the class if it is greater than 1. That is your grade point average.
A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1

You add it up like that, %26amp; then divide it by the number of numbers you added

like if your grade were A A B B

4+4+3+3=14

14 divide by/ 4 = 3.5
