How long does it usually take when buying products on these sites to get delivered to your door?

I have only bought something from 2 websites so far. I did it on Tuesday. They have not yet come. These are the websites I want to know about.

Amazon


Ebay (Not yet bought anything from there)





How long does it usually take until you get the items from these sites when buying them and which one take the longest and the shortest time? Which item I bought will win the race? Amazon and Play are relatively quick. I use all the sites and have had no issues with delivery with Amazon and Play. Ebay on the other hand is like a postage minefield as you are relying on the seller at the other end.
It is really impossible to give exact delivery times because it all depends on when the seller dispatches the goods you have bought.


It then depends on what service the sellers have used (e.g first class, 2nd class etc).





In general a buyer should allow 1 business day for the sale to be processed this involves wrapping and dispatching.





Then the buyer should allow anything from 1 working day to 5 working days for delivery. again this is varied according to the postal service used.
In the UK mainland,





Play = two three days


Amazon = depends if they are selling it themselves or if its through Amazon Marketplace or if its in stock.


eBay = depends on the dealer you buy from Each one states the post used and the cost. You know your own local delivery service provider.

Amazon - Next-day depending on when you place the order, but you also have to pay extra.


Ebay - Depending on the seller, but most of the stuff i've bought next-day
With Ebay the length of time for delivery depends on the seller. I haven't bought anything from Play and with Amazon it usually takes about 5 business days.
