Christians how can you consider your god to be doing a good job, if there is no other god to compare it to?

If God had competition, He would not be God.








And by the way, He is doing a great job. He created everything from nothing. He made a recording of everything that was important for us to know. He came to earth as Jesus Christ and paid the price for all mans sins so that we could have redemption. He has held everything together by His Word, and He is getting ready to come back again for us. Sounds like He has it all figured out.





It is US that have messed everything up. It is you and I that are not doing a very good job. WE ARE TO BLAME.

Why mess with perfection?





It looks as if you are doing a pretty poor job, based upon all the insulting, illogical, and ignorant questions and comments you have made this evening.
We are alive. We are happy. We are well. Is there more to ask?

How can something that is PERFECT (which God is) do a BETTER job than PERFECTION?





God cannot create something that is equal or superior to Himself. (Yes, there ARE things which God cannot do!)





By your logic, then, and SINCE God is PERFECT (which cannot be debated), there is no REASON to create some other god. For what reason? To compare perfection to perfection? That does not compute.





There is no need for God to have any competition... again, how can one compete with PERFECTION?

The fact that God is called ';the Almighty'; teaches us that God is the most powerful being there is, no one can compete with him. But someone did try and that someone is Satan the Devil. He challenged God sovereignty (way of ruling) and said he could be a better ruler over mankind. (Genesis 3:1-5) Thus he made himself a God. This is why he is called the God of this system of things, the one who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. (2Corinthians 4:3,4)(1John 5:19)(Revelation 12:9) God has allowed Satan this time to prove whether or not he can be a better ruler then God. But Satans time is running out and he is angry because he knows that soon he and all of his followers will be destroyed. (Revelation 12:12)
